Hensies

Hensies (prononcer Modèle:MSAPI; en wallon Inzî, en picard Hinzi) est une commune francophone de Belgique située en Région wallonne dans la province de Hainaut. Cette commune fait partie de l'arrondissement administratif de Mons.

Géographie

Hensies est une commune frontalière à la France. Elle est traversée par la Haine. Elle est composée de quatre villages : Hensies, Montrœul-sur-Haine, Thulin et Hainin.

Population

La population de l'entité d'Hensies est de 6 826 habitants au [[1er janvier|Modèle:1er]] 2022 et ils sont appelés les Hensitois. Les deux villages les plus peuplés de cette commune sont Hensies et Thulin.
